Oh, yeah. This show application always unnerves me. It's important for me to get in this show, so I worry until the little card comes back. This year I sent a CD of my work and I wasn't sure I made enough examples , or showed the right things, etc, etc, it's out of my comfort zone. Yipee!
Here is a beginning of a collage. I have the inkjet transfer and the top is a clear tape transfer. For the clear tape transfer you take a ink jet copy and cover it with clear packing tape and then burnish it really, really good. Then, you run water over the paper and rub the paper away being a little careful with the transferring part.
I haven't figured out how to overcome the width of the tape, because it only comes in a certain width. You can see the line, but when I stitch it, it will be lined up and not show as much.
Here is a clear tape transfer with the seam, but I have stitched it down and it doesn't show as much. You can see the writing behind this example.
This is another example of clear tape transfer. The better you burnish the inkjet copy, the better it transfers.
The collage so far......
Another collage in process.........
You are the most clever woman!! I love what you come up with! God has graced you with a talent!!
